My guest on JobsWorth this week is Rory Emery – founder of The Moment Posters.

Rory, in his own words, has always been a bit of a wheeler-dealer, but don’t let the label fool you… Del Boy he most certainly is not.

The very definition of a self-starter, Rory has taken his love of film, as well as an appreciation for art and history, and created a business that sees him source rare and vintage movie posters for clients across the globe.

We find out how his fascination with James Bond led to him working at a top London gallery, ask why he decided to go it alone and start his own business in the first place, and I ask for some investment advice for anyone looking to start their own poster collection… thank me later.

We also explore how he’s handled setbacks, a volatile US market and ensuring he plays to his strengths, and Rory shares how his ADHD diagnosis led to a much better understanding of how to manage productivity and feelings of self-doubt.
